Here at Heartland Veterinary & Boarding you'll find our certified Fear Free staff and environment was designed to help reduce or eliminate your furry friend’s anxiety. From the moment you enter you will notice the warm wall colors and softer lighting.Our furniture was purposefully chosen to provide a feel more like home. We use lavender and chamomile essential oils along with pet pheromone diffusers throughout the hospital which are proven to aid in decreasing pets’ fear of new people and unfamiliar surroundings. Classical music, also shown to decrease anxiety, plays in each exam room. All of these things combined with plenty of love and treats, allow for a more thorough physical exam, a better experience and ultimately, improved healthcare for your pet!
