The director is very receptive and easy to talk to. The class is small, between 4 and 10 kids since we've been there. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the teacher, Alyssa. She is wonderful with the kids and they love her. She is attentive, engaging and caring. The school has an academic approach so they follow a routine part of which includes a learning time. Unfortunately the house doesn't have central air and it does get pretty warm on hot days. The outdoor area seems pretty good for the toddlers (they recently put down a rubber mat to make it safer for falls). In the 9 months at CWK they've worked with the toddlers on the alphabet, talked about animals, counting, shapes, colors, holidays and traffic signals. He learned his body parts from songs during circle time, has ate more vegetables and foods than at home, learned to follow directions and developed a love for reading. He has explored the arts with his senses - learning to to finger paint, color and make crafts.
