Today, i went to stop and shop in somerset ma. My family are having a tough time this christmas,we are currently loosing our house, with 6 family memebers to provide for money is tight. So i went to purchase food thinking i had 60 something on my ebt. Went to self check out and it rang out to 66, but it said my card didnt have enough, so i called for help and a nice lady came over and took so items back, so thinking i was okay this time i swiped my card with it still saying it was enough. Called the card finally to see i onl. Had 40, so i called the lady back over to put even more back and instead of putting it back she paid the amount i didnt have. I honestly am so thankful, im sad i didnt get her name, but she put faith in me that there are still good people. Thank you

Hello, My name is Jeremy Silveira son of Joan Comstock who worked at store #0421 and Stop & Shop assisted in the death of my mother. I Recently found out shocking information from employee and my mothers best friend who I just spoke with today.



My mother Joan Comstock reported chest pains to the store manager and he threated to fire her as a liability if it happened again.



She worked for Stop&Shop for over 10 years and was threatened to be fired by this foreign manager who no one likes from the horror stories I've heard. My mother then cried to her best friend Nancy and told her that he threatened to fire her and she refused to go to the hospital out of fear of losing her job.



One week later I heard my mom screeching and gasping for air, she passed away on August 29th 2012, Because of this selfish mans actions my mother is now gone and I will never see her again. Had she had went to the hospital and had medical attention she may be here with me today.



I urge everyone to call Store #0421 and ask them why the manager threatened to fire my mom who had a heart condition and medical papers stating her conditions for reporting chest pains. I hope this information can help someone and teach everyone the evil behind this store. I will never shop here again and I will be posting this story and protesting outside of this store in the very near future to spread this information to everyone in the world.
